In recent years, mariculture has been developing rapidly and playing an increasingly important role in fishery economy. However, the social economic development has also led to dramatic changes in the aquaculture environments and conditions, resulting in many new problems constraining the development of mariculture. In this paper, based on the current development and problems in Guangxi′s mariculture, several measures to solve the problems are put forward, including strengthening the surveillance of aquaculture environment and the study on aquaculture capacity, implementing the strategy of quality seed program and vitalizing fishery by science and technology, establishing aquaculture disease preventing and curing system and strictly formulating the aquaculture behaviors.
