The cod-end of deep-water net cage is driven by the current. Its form changes with the size of water resistance. The change of cod-end form is related to the carring capacity of net cage and influences the cultural effect directly. The anti-current effect of truncated cone cod-end is better than that of circular and column cod-ends by analysis, and is more suitable for the operations of deep-water net cage culture than circular and column cod-ends. By practical tests, this paper reported the form design, sinker weight and making method of the truncated cone cod-end under current velocity of 0.45~0.75 m · s-1, and provided reference for cod-end making of deep-water net cage at strong current.
