In recent years, some Chinese seafood importing developed countries use protecting human, animal and plant life or health as an excuse to set very high level of technical barriers to seafood trade. This paper makes an analysis of key elements affecting the seafood safety, and the trends of technical trade barrier of the developed countries. Also the suggestions are put forward on improving seafood safety management in fish culture to break through technical trade barriers.
