  • In order to improve feeding automatization and industrialization level of feeding and meet the needs for fish feeding during modern aquaculture production, remote pneumatic conveying automatic feeding system was developed, and the automatic control for the feeding system integrated with programmable logic controller (PLC) and sensor was successfully designed. PLC was used as control core in the system, which was integrated kinds of techniques including programming and sensors, etc. The primary structure, and working principle of the feeding system, selection of controlling system hardware and measures for programming methods were also introduced. Feeding operation with accurate quantification, automatic control and humanization operationman-machine friendliness was realized and monitored through the system software programmed with the ladder diagram language, which run in the environment of GX-DEVELOPER-8.34. Test results on feeding system showed that it can handle up to 300 m feeding pipe at 1 586 kg · h-1 when discharge pressure was 49.0 kPa, which proved that the feeding system could can improve feeding efficiency and meet quality effectively.
