A research on the technique of conchosporelings about the premium strain of "Shenfu No.1"Porphyra haitanensis

  • The experiment had been conducted for 3 years from 2003 to 2005.The rearing condition of conchocelis of "shenfu No.1" was the same as the traditional ones, and the quantity discharged conchospores from the conchocelis of "shenfu No.1 " was almost the same as the traditional ones, which could meet the demand of seeding and rearing in a large scale farming. After one month farming of conchosporelings of "Shenfu No.1" in the sea, the average length of gametophytic blade was over twice as much as the traditional ones. " Shenfu No.1" had the advantage of faster growth rate, later mature and longer growth period, good color and luster. The results for increasing production and value were significant.
