Research ontrawling tracing based on BeiDou vessel monitoring system data

  • Safety of aquatic products is vital to national well-being andpeople's livelihood. The assistby Beidou satellite navigation vessel monitoring system realizestraceability of trawling, which provides new means for aquaculture safety management. According to the threshold of speed and course deviation, we determined the status of trawlers and calculated the cumulative fishing time which was regarded as the fishing intensity ofcertain area in a period of time. Through tracing the ships, fishing grounds and harbors by ship positions, weobtained the source and cumulative fishing time of aquatic products with consideration to the information of fishing grounds and fishing areas, which realizedtraceability of aquatic products. This studygrasped information of fishing ground location, cumulative fishing time, fishing intensity andso on,so as to realizetraceability of fishing boats and source of aquatic products in fishing port accurately to a single fishing grounds.
