Thermodynamic model and impact factors for organic pesticide adsorption in environment

  • The ecological risk of organic pesticide is related to its migration, transformation and fate in environment. To study the adsorption mechanism of organic pesticide in environment is significant to assess its effectiveness and ecological risk. Thus, the review introduces the theoretical basis, application scope and limitations of different thermodynamic adsorption models. In addition, it discusses the relationship between the sorption process of organic pesticide and the environmental factors such as pH, ion strength, organic matter and temperature, etc..It provides references for further studies in the adsorption mechanism and practical application for organic pesticide, and for guidance of rational use of organic pesticide in fishery production.
