Analysis of false-positive reactionfor HPLC determination of 17-methyltestosterone in aquatic productby HPLC
Based on a HPLCdetermination of17-methyltestosterone in aquatic product, the author studies how to distinguish false-positive from true-positive results. Result shows that changing the rate of mobile phase can separate the false positive substance. Furthermore, a method is proposed to prevent or reduce the false positive results.
