Abstract:
A static injection chemiluminescence was developed to measure the dissolved oxygen (DO) of water based on the chemiluminescence reaction of Luminol with Iodine in buffer medium. This method had been proved to be sensitive but consuming smaller amounts of chemicals than conventional ones. It showed that the DO was detected linearly within the concentration range of 0.20~15.00 mg·L
-1. The relative standard deviation (
n=10) was 2.76% for 0.20 mg·L
-1 DO. The recoveries of Iodine were between 95% and 105%. The results indicated that this method could be used to determine DO in water.
