Abstract:
To study the effects of glucose and vitamin C (V
C) on early development of Puan silve crucian carp (
Carassius auratus gibelio), we studied the membrane time, hatching ratio, survival rate and growth characteristics of
C.auratus gibelio socked in glucose and V
C solutions by static aqueous solution immersion. The results show that when the concentration of glucose was below 15 g · L
-1 and concentration of V
C was below 30 mg · L
-1, the membrane time of larvae was decreasing and the hatching ratio, survival rate, weight and full-length were increasing with the increase of concentrations glucose and V
C. Concentration of glucose solution higher than 15 g · L
-1 and concentration of V
C solution higher than 30 mg · L
-1 had inhibitory effect on early development of
C.auratus gibelio. The research indicates that appropriate concentrations of glucose and V
C can promote early development of
C.auratus gibelio.
