Abstract:
Under indoor aquaculture conditions of Sebastiscus marmoratus, the paper studied the ecological effects of Ulva lactuca by comparing two U. lactuca groups at different stocking densities with the control group (without water exchange). The results showed that U. lactuca was effective in removing N and P nutrient salts in aquaculture water. The densities of U. lactuca put into S. marmoratus were 534 gm-3 and 801 gm-3, respectively. The experiment lasted for 9 days without water exchange. Compared with the control group, the removal efficiencies of NO3-N, NH4-N and PO4-P were 83.7%, 90.7% and 86.5%, respectively in 534 gm-3 group, while those of NO3-N, NH4-N and PO4-P were 90.1%, 96.9% and 92.7%, respectively in 801 gm-3 group.
