Abstract:
The effects of Bacillus licheniformis strain De in Sparus latus culture were studied by using comprehensive analysis approach. The results showed that the water environment and aquaculture performance were optimized by B.licheniformis strain De. The survival rate, length and weight growth rate of S.latus increased 18.2%, 21.0% and 312% respectively; NH3-N, NO2--N and PO43--P concentration in water and organic carbon in sediment decreased significantly (P0.05). Compared with the control group, the organic carbon content in sediment decreased 49.77% and 22.63% at earlier and later stages; NO2--N and PO43--P concentration decreased 25.82% and 41.00%; NH3-N decreased 36.33%, 18.10% and 14.28% at earlier, middle and later stages respectively; Vibrio concentration decreased 61.76% at later stage; the quantity of heterotrophic bacteria in sediment increased 38.61% at middle and later stages, while that of Bacillus in water and sediment increased 15.34% and 26.37% throughout the culture period.
